The US State Department removes contentious advice about Spain racist prejudices. Wow, thank you!!

The Obama administration removed this racism warning about Spain from the Department of State web page only a few hours before Michelle Obama landed in our country.

According to the State Department until August 2nd 2010 Afro-Americans visiting Spain were more likely to be arrested due to Spanish Police racist prejudices.

Thank you Hillary for considering us all of the sudden less racist than a week ago!! Thank you Barack and Michelle for giving us the chance to demonstrate that we are no bigots any more!!

We want to become a country as politically correct as the USA where black people (I call black black and white white otherwise I would have to be considered a European American if I was living in the US and if I was black I would be an Euro-African-American and that does not make sense to me) living in Chicago, Los Angeles, Detroit or New York have the same chances of being arrested than white people. We want to become a country where black people have the same opportunities to catch a taxi as white folks same as they do in the streets of New York at 1 am at night...

Since Michelle Obama´s visit to Spain we have gotten ridden of our sick racist mindset, now we are a bit more liberals and open minded and we shall go riding our donkeys in our bullfighter outfit down the streets of Madrid or Barcelona with our heads up high. Now we can all sleep our 3 hour daily siesta without having racist nightmares due to eating to much paella and drinking too much sangria.

We have carried this problem for centuries and I am not talking about racism, Brits and Americans are about 10 times more racist than we are, I am talking about bad-press and our black legends.

During the Spanish-American war, the yellow press led by Randolph Hearst and Joseph Pulitzer, published all kinds of supposed atrocities.

Frederick Remington while in Cuba told Hearst:

"Everything is quiet. There is no trouble. There will be no war. I wish to return."

Supposedly, although he (Hearst) denied it afterwards, he quickly wired back:

"Please remain. You furnish the pictures and I'll furnish the war."

Americans wanted Cuba at any cost and in my opinion they blew one of their ships (The USS Maine) in a Spanish harbour and entered that war for which the southern states and some fruit companies longed for so many years.

Barack Obama himself said in his famous speech to Egyptian students at Cairo University:

"Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance. We see it in the history of Andalusia and Cordoba during the Inquisition". HAHAHAHAHAAHA

If I said something like:

Spain has a proud history of baseball players. We see it in the history of London during the Soccer Championship

It would make much more sense than Obama´s sentence. Obama claims himself as a historian sometimes, then how can hen read this total fiction sentence without blushing?

During the Inquisition (it would be more appropriate to say in the time of...) Cordova was no longer under Islam´s fist. It had been reconquest by Ferdinand the Third in 1236 and all the lives of the inhabitants respected.

The Inquisition was enforced in Spain in 1478.

So that supposedly tolerant muslim Cordova never coexisted with the Spanish Inquisition!!

Obama could have said that the best NBA seasons and matches took place during the Florence Renaissance and it would be as close to be true as his totally absurd sentence about Islam.

And going back to the Inquisition. It appears that Inquisition must always go together with the adjective "Spanish" like if it was something unique to Spain.

Well the Inquisition was first established by Pope Lucio III in 1184 almost 300 years before it was implemented in Spain (after 800 years of war against Islam). Inquisition was founded for all the Christian world and it was implemented in almost every country before it began in Spain.

In fact English jews were expelled to Spain before we did that same thing centuries later. Both things are evil yes, and also both things must be put into a context too but please do not give Spain the monopoly for the Inquisition!!

We have carried that black legend for years and still carry it and maybe no one in the Anglosaxon world has taken a close look at how many descendents of native Americans are there in the USA or Canada and how many are there in Mexico, Bolivia, Ecuador, etc.

Soon I shall write something very unknown about a Spanish and an American Hero named Bernardo Gálvez (Galveston is named after him) and how he busted half a dozen British Forts with a bunch of the finest Spanish warriors in a time of revolt in a place some British folks still call "The Colonies" with some stiff upper lip attitude.

11M Terror hits Madrid. Some of us still want to know the truth

More than six years ago a terrorist attack in Madrid killed 192 and wounded over a thousand people. This terrorist criminal attack took place only three days before the 2004 General Elections in Spain. This attack was as unexpected for the Spanish society as José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero´s victory three days after the bombs exploded. During the three days right after the attack the Spanish Socialist Party, PSOE, accused the government of lying and not giving enough information about this terrorist crime. Right after PSOE won the elections no one in that party wanted to know.

Some cold facts that are very hard to understand:

1.- Inmediately after the massacre hundreds of tons of the train debris were destroyed, unclaimed items such as clothes were burnt and all potential evidence vanished. I know this sounds like I am nuts but it is a fact that can be easily checked out. Imagine that the team in charge of investigating a plane crash decides to destroy all the wreckage of the plane right after the crash; strange? yes, a mistake? no way.

2.- The official, and unproven, version on what kind of explosive blasted in march 11th 2004 tells that it was "Goma 2-Eco". The same explosive as that found in the famous "Vallecas" hand bag. This bag suddenly appeared from no one really knows where and contained Goma2-ECO but had no detonation device connected.

3.- The few remains that were analyzed were not sent to the Scientific Police as it corresponded due to fact that they are the ones that count with more resources and technology and their reports have judicial strength. Instead of following the correct procedure the remains were analyzed by the TEDAX (Deactivation Specialist Squad) lab. This TEDAX lab counts with less technology, less resources and their reports do not count as much as those from the Scientific Police before a court.

4.- The report the TEDAX sent to the investigating judge was as brief and as simple as "components of dynamite". 192 dead people killed by "components". Judge for yourself! Meanwhile only some screws remained from the hundreds of tons of evidence and most of this scarce pieces of evidence were washed with acetone for some reason no one has been able to explain...and that washing liquid was gone too.

5.- Due to this inconsisting report from the TEDAX judge Bermúdez asked for new analysis. These new analysis were conducted by 6 experts (2 from the Police, 2 from theGuardia Civil and 2 independent experts). The result of these tests were clear: could not have been Goma 2-ECO

6.- Less than a year ago, a newspaper (EL Mundo) released the videos recorded from the six experts carrying the tests out; and in these videos you can clearly see how the Police experts swear when they find out that it could not be Goma 2-ECO nor Goma 2-EC and it could have been Titadine. With this evidence a number of questions inmediately pop out anyone´s mind such as why was there this hand bag with no active detonation device? or why did not the police keep more pieces of evidence instead of destroying them?

7.- In Spain the day before the elections no one can do any supportive demonstration or meeting . This day is considered by law a day for people to think about their vote. Well, 2 days after the attack in a clear infringement of the law, thousands of well organized people rallied the PP (Partido Popular) premises across Spain calling President Aznar a murderer shouting "we want to know". Interesting how the were bearing the same banners and shouting the same sentences. After the socialist party won the elections none of them ever asked again for the truth. After the mission was accomplished there was no rush.

This "spontaneous" demonstrations were not condemned by President Zapatero in those days nor have ever been condemned until the present day.

I do not know who were responsible for these crimes, I do not know what explosive killed 192 persons and wounded over one thoushand, but I do know that our government has done all they can to hide the truth and I am certain that most of the criminals responsible for these crimes are not in jail, and, finally, I am certain that this was an attack with a clear objective: to change the Spanish government into a weaker one... and they succeeded.

Bernardino León. Spanish socialists alternative to Zapatero?

Bernardino is currently Secretary General of the Presidency and has a reputation of "getting the job done" when things get tough for president José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, his boss. Unfortunately for all Spaniards President Zapatero has been managing the current economic crisis worse than the rest of the Western leaders and Mr Bernardino has become a real busy firefighter in the international arena extinguishing all the fires his boss has started.

Mr. León is by far much more efficient than Mr. Moratinos (Foreign Affairs Ministry) when it comes to calm the finacial markets or to explain the economic policies the Spanish Government has in the pipeline (policies that have been constantly changing until now depending on Zapatero´s mood).

Mr Zapatero has been denying the very existence of the crisis until less than a year ago and has recently being forced by the EU and the IMF to implement severe budget cuts. The severity of these cuts is the result of Zapatero´s denial of the very existence of an economic crush in the first moments when other milder measures could have been implemented.

Mr León is a very appreciated individual among the top decission makers both in the financial markets and the high net worth politics, and according to several sources he is already being prepared for his presentation as a solid alternative to lazy and naive Zapatero. You will not hear his name in the media as a candidate to replace the all burnt out Zapatero and that is part of the strategy being managed to keep him away from the sinking socialists government as much as possible before he pursues his goal: being Spain´s next President.
